FIT-UP PRO’s Spider Clamp Series 400 offers precision alignment for two hollow cylindrical components of different diameters. With independent expanding clamps for each part, the tool ensures secure clamping from 2 – 36″ / 54 – 940 mm internal diameter. Made with stainless steel locating rails, it’s ideal for heavy components such as flanges and elbows. A bottom knob sets the pipe clamp, while a top hand-bar secures the mating part. This model has two independent expanding clamps, allowing independent alignment of two hollow cylindrical components of different diameters. The bottom expanding clamp is inserted and clamped in the pipe by means of the knob.
Then the other part (e.g. a flange) is placed over the top expanding clamp and clamped by means of the hand-bar. This model is specially suited for heavy parts. All locating rails are in stainless steel.
